digiClique™ Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Kevin Reed is an entertainment lawyer. He received his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law.

He began his legal career by practicing criminal law for the Shelby County Public Defender. He then went into private practice and began developing his entertainment and intellectual property law practice. As an entertainment lawyer, he developed contracts for artists, labels, and managers and structured business foundations for start-up labels. He also secured copyrights and performance rights for songwriters and musicians and negotiated recording contracts for artists in various genres. He co-founded Digiclique Entertainment in an effort to level the extremely unequal balance of power that distribution companies routinely exercise over artists and labels and to address the distribution concerns of independent artist and labels. He believes digital distribution now represents the most viable option for independent artists and labels seeking to increase their music sales and gain national and international exposure.
